We recommend booking while you’re still pregnant, ideally during your second trimester. This ensures we can reserve your spot and be ready to schedule the session once your baby arrives. If your baby has already arrived, reach out—we’ll do our best to fit you in!

The best time for a newborn photoshoot is within 5-20 days after birth, with the first 2-3 weeks being optimal. During this time, babies are sleepier and more accommodating for those classic curled-up poses. Older babies can still have beautiful sessions, just with a different style.

A full newborn session takes 2-4 hours, including multiple setups, outfit changes, and family shots. We build in breaks for feeding, soothing, and repositioning to ensure a calm, baby-led session. Mini sessions (1.5 hours) are also available for essential shots. Quality is always our priority.

8. Is the session in-studio or at my home?
We recommend our fully equipped San Jose studio, which has all the props, blankets, and setups ready. However, if you prefer a cozy at-home session, we can bring the setup to you—just ensure good natural light and adequate space.

Editing is a detailed, time-intensive process and typically takes a couple of weeks. As soon as the edits are complete, we’ll notify you, and you’ll be able to download all the original images along with the fully edited ones.
