Twins Photography  – Newborn Photoshoot in San Jose – Starting at $899

San Jose’s Dedicated Twins Newborn Photography Specialists

Photographing twins is a completely different skill from a standard newborn session. Two babies, two sets of poses, twice the patience — and it only works if your photographer has done it before.

At PhotoUncle, Vish and Kush have photographed twins newborn sessions across the Bay Area since 2019. We know how to work with one baby while the other settles. We know the poses that work safely for multiples. And Kush has a gift for soothing two babies at once that twin parents consistently call out in their reviews.

Every twins session is 2–3 hours minimum, baby-led, and never rushed. Studio sessions at our San Jose studio or in-home for families who prefer it.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    1. When should I book my twins photography newborn session?

We recommend booking while you’re still pregnant, ideally during your second trimester. This ensures we can reserve your spot and be ready to schedule the session once your baby arrives. If your baby has already arrived, reach out—we’ll do our best to fit you in!

    2. What is the ideal age for twins newborn photos?

The best time for a newborn photoshoot is within 5-20 days after birth, with the first 2-3 weeks being optimal. During this time, babies are sleepier and more accommodating for those classic curled-up poses. Older babies can still have beautiful sessions, just with a different style.

    3. How long does a twins newborn session take?

A full newborn session takes 2-4 hours, including multiple setups, outfit changes, and family shots. We build in breaks for feeding, soothing, and repositioning to ensure a calm, baby-led session. Mini sessions (1.5 hours) are also available for essential shots. Quality is always our priority.

    4. Can you photograph preemie twins??

Absolutely. At PhotoUncle, the safety and comfort of newborns always comes first, especially for preemie twins. Preemie twin sessions are typically scheduled once the babies are medically stable and parents feel ready. Extra time is always reserved for feeding, soothing, and safe posing, ensuring a calm and stress-free experience for both babies and parents.

    5. Do you photograph twins together and individually?

Yes — every twin newborn session includes a beautiful mix of sibling poses together as well as individual portraits of each baby. We capture their special bond through cozy paired setups while also highlighting each baby’s unique personality with solo portraits.

    6. Do I need to bring props or outfits for my baby?

No need! We have a large collection of props, blankets, wraps, hats, headbands, and swaddles. However, if you have something special—a family heirloom, favorite onesie, or meaningful accessory—please bring it along, and we’ll incorporate it into the session.

    7. Can siblings and parents be included in the newborn session?

Absolutely! A new baby is a big moment for the whole family. We love capturing those first connections—sibling interactions and family portraits are an important part of the session. Sisters should wear neutral tops or plain dresses; brothers should wear jeans/khakis with a neutral shirt.

    8. Is the session in-studio or at my home?

We recommend our fully equipped San Jose studio, which has all the props, blankets, and setups ready. However, if you prefer a cozy at-home session, we can bring the setup to you—just ensure good natural light and adequate space.

    9. What safety precautions do you take?

Baby safety is our top priority. We maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards—all props are sanitized, and we take careful precautions throughout the session. With years of hands-on experience, we know how to handle newborns safely and comfortably.

    10. Do I Need to Bring Anything?

No need to stress about outfits or props—we have everything ready!

    Our collection includes:

    • Soft wraps in neutral and pastel shades
    • Delicate headbands, bonnets, and tiny hats
    • Cozy textures like knitted blankets and faux furs

But if there’s something special you’d like to include—a family heirloom, a favorite onesie, or a meaningful accessory—bring it along, and we’ll incorporate it into your newborn photoshoot in San Francisco or San Jose.

    11. Do you also offer newborn photography?

Yes. Many families book maternity and newborn sessions together. It’s the best way to capture your story from bump to baby.

    12. Can I bring props or keepsakes?

Yes, and we encourage it. Baby shoes, ultrasound images, or special family items can make your pregnancy photography in San Jose even more personal.

    13. Do you provide hair and makeup services?

We don’t provide them directly, but we’ll recommend trusted professionals. Or, keep it natural, the choice is yours. Either way, we’ll make sure your glow shines through in your maternity photoshoot in San Jose.

    14. How do I book my maternity photoshoot with Photo Uncle?

Booking is easy; just reach out through our website or give us a call at (408) 490 0372. We’ll handle the planning, from outfits to locations, so your maternity photoshoot in San Jose or maternity photo session in San Francisco is stress-free and unforgettable.

    15. How much do maternity packages cost?

Our maternity photography packages start at $699. Custom packages are available to match your specific vision. Contact us for a detailed quote based on your preferences and requirements.

    16. What's included in the packages?

Our packages include all unedited photos plus selective professionally retouched images of your choice. High-resolution digital images are delivered in an elegant online gallery. Optional prints and albums are available.

    17. Do you offer package deals for multiple sessions?

Yes! We offer comprehensive maternity-to-newborn packages that include both sessions at a bundled rate. We also offer milestone packages to document your baby’s first year. Contact us for details.

    18. When will I receive my photos?

Once your payment is completed, you’ll receive the first set of images the very next day for selection. You can then choose the photos you’d like us to edit through our online portal. Editing is a detailed, time-intensive process and typically takes a couple of weeks. As soon as the edits are complete, we’ll notify you, and you’ll be able to download all the original images along with the fully edited ones.
