Where will the session take place?
We prefer to have the photo shoot session in our studio and not an outdoor location at this moment, as we are equipped with multiple options like props, blankets, swaddles, posing supplies and much more for the newborn session. Alternatively we could align it in the comfort of your home provided, there is enough natural light and space.
Do I need to bring any props or outfits?
You do not have to, we have a large collection of props, blankets, hats, headbands, and swaddles, so you do not need to bring your own. However, if you have something specific that you would like included, please let us know ahead of time so we can find a way to incorporate it.
What about siblings?
Siblings are most welcome, the session is equally important for them. Sister(s) should wear a neutral top or a neutral, plain colored dress. Big brother(s) should wear jeans or khakis and a nice, neutral plain shirt if possible. Children and family are import part of your baby photography session. We want to keep the focus on the baby, so no logos or patterns please.
How long with the session last?
With newborn photography sessions, there are two options. A full newborn session is 3-4 hours long and a mini-newborn session is 1.5 hours. Normally the newborn photography session takes 2 – 4 hours, however there is no restriction placed on timeline. Quality is a priority for us.

When to book: Newborn babies are ideal to photograph between 5 & 20 days old, when they are still very flexible and womb-like and spend most of their time sleeping.
What to wear: We prefer babies dressed very simply in plain onesies, muslin swaddles, or just diaper – whatever their comfort level is. Wear something that makes you feel beautiful. Neutral, light (creams, whites, grays or pastel tones) work best as they don’t take away from the natural beauty of your baby. For you, solid or floral tops (and textures like big knits and lace) work best. But please feel free to bring what makes you look great yet comfortable.
When will the session take place?
Newborn photo session timing is important here because at this age, the babies are much sleepier and flexible, and enjoy being curled up and cozy most of the time. All this allows us to be able to capture those moments, those adorable shots where they are swaddled or tucked in and positioned in baskets and other props. In our consultation session we go over the sleeping patterns of your newborn , the basics of baby photography and all what is required to have an amazing session.
